WIC Participation and Breastfeeding after the 2009 WIC Revision: A Propensity Score Approach
The 2009 WIC revisions contained efforts to increase breastfeeding tools and support. This study examined the effect the revisions had on WIC participation and breastfeeding outcomes. They found that after 2009 WIC-participating children were not less likely to receive breastfeeding compared to non-WIC children as they were prior to the revisions.
