COVID-19 Isn’t Over Yet: Increasing Vaccinations Among Latinos in Overlooked Hotspots

On June 29th, 2022 from 7:00-8:15 PM ET, we will discuss vaccine rate updates in Latino communities throughout various states that are still lagging behind in vaccine uptake, what factors have contributed to these rates, and what are some possible solutions, as well as any outstanding needs in these communities in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic. We will hear from experts on why these gaps exist and what we can do to sufficiently address them. It is important to note that the pandemic is not over and we cannot afford to overlook these hotspots that are comprised of primarily working-class minorities. While many folks are eager to return to some semblance of normalcy, there is still a lot of work to be done to ensure that vulnerable populations are physically, socially, and economically safe.
