June ADJUST: A Four-Day Virtual Health Equity and Social Justice Workshop

Experienced co-facilitators lead these dialogue-based sessions. The workshop illuminates how racism, classism, and other types of oppression are root causes of health inequity and introduces strategies to address them. This workshop consists of three consecutive half-day sessions, followed by a fourth day two weeks later.

Over The Four Days, Participants Will:

  • Build a shared vocabulary to advance meaningful dialogue about oppression.
  • Apply equity concepts to real-life scenarios.
  • Explore the meaning and impact of cultural/social identity across groups.
  • Understand the necessity and value of addressing racism and other forms of oppression to reduce health inequities.
  • Identify opportunities to advance equity in our work and personal life.
