Ujima, Inc: The National Center on Violence Against Women in the Black Community will partner with the National Organization of Sisters of Color Ending Sexual Assault (SCESA), National Alliance to End Sexual Violence (the Alliance), and the National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV) to present a Sexual Assault Awareness Month Webinar designed to raise awareness about the impact of sexual violence on Black families. This webinar will focus on how FVPSA grantees can better address the co-occurrence of sexual assault and intimate partner and family violence. The webinar will also provide an opportunity for participants to learn about local efforts to respond to and prevent sexual violence, including the role of rape crisis centers, culturally specific sexual assault organizations, and strategies to address sexual assault across the lifespan.
