Ohio WIC is working with the Ohio Pregnancy-Associated Mortality Review program to educate moms about urgent warning signs that can occur during pregnancy or in the postpartum period. Although the nature of this education is clinical, approaching the education from a public health perspective and providing this education to WIC clients can reach a wider audience of moms and ultimately save mothers’ lives.
