Support the Black Maternal Health Momnibus Act
By National WIC Association
The Momnibus Act is a comprehensive package of bills that would address entrenched racial disparities in maternal health. Introduced by Reps. Lauren Underwood (D-IL) and Alma Adams (D-NC) and Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ), the Momnibus Act is an urgently needed step in improving maternal health outcomes for Black and Indigenous women – including a series of provisions that would enhance WIC’s reach and public health impacts.
