The CARE for Families Act

In June 2019, Reps. Alma Adams (D-NC), Lauren Underwood (D-IL), and Bobby Scott (D-VA) introduced the Community Access to Education and Referrals (CARE) for Families Act. NWA endorses this legislation, which would create new funding for local WIC partnerships with healthcare providers to enhance referral networks and increase access to healthcare.
