How to Implement a WIC Participant Recertification Portal
By Nava
Recertifying for WIC can be difficult, especially for young families that are strapped for time and resources. To better understand WIC’s enrollment and retention gap and identify solutions to address it, Montana WIC and Nava Public Benefit Corporation piloted a participant recertification portal to reduce the burden of this process for WIC participants and staff. This toolkit details how WIC state and local agencies can implement their own participant recertification portal, outlining technical details, capacity considerations, and production-readiness.
